Data Protection

The protection of your personal data is of great importance to rola Security Solutions GmbH. As a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom, we consider it essential to inform you about which personal data is collected, how it is used, and what options you have in managing it.

Which data is collected, how is it used, and how long is it stored?

When using the rola website (referred to here as the "online service"), our servers temporarily log the domain name or IP address of your device, along with other data such as requested content and response codes.

The logged data is used solely for purposes of data security, in particular to defend against attempted attacks on our web server (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is not used to create personal user profiles nor shared with third parties and is deleted after a maximum of 7 days. We reserve the right to statistically analyse anonymised data records.

No other personal data is collected (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, §25(2)(No. 2) TTDSG).

Data control with social media plug-ins or links to social media platforms

We only use pictograms of the respective social media platforms on our site. These are inactive by default. Only when you click on a pictogram are you redirected to our company’s page on the respective social media platform. These platforms and their third-party content providers are solely responsible for the services they offer and for processing your data.

By activating the social media plug-in or link via the pictogram (including when sharing content) (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), the following data may be transmitted to the social media provider: IP address, browser information, operating system, screen resolution, installed browser plug-ins (e.g. Adobe Flash Player), referrer URL, and the URL of the current page, etc.

On your next visit to our site, the plug-ins will again be presented in their default inactive mode, ensuring that no data is transmitted automatically.

For further information on the purpose and scope of data processing by social media plug-ins and your rights in this regard, please refer to the respective providers’ privacy policies.
